I stopped at an intersection recently and spotted a white pickup truck with a Virginia Natural Gas logo. I was particularly impressed by the story the logo tells, and how simple and clean it looks.
After a little research, I discovered that the branding consultancy Lippincott created the logo as part of an identity strategy for Southern Company—an energy company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
As it turns out, Virginia Natural Gas is just one of many subsidiaries of Southern Company. That, to me, makes its success that much more impressive.
