Haha… I recently found the artwork for a logo I created back in the 1970s for “The Fan”, a district of downtown Richmond, Virginia. (So named for the “fan” shape formed by the streets that extend west of Belvidere Street.)
It is a beautiful part of town which includes, among others, the Virginia Commonwealth University campus, Monument Avenue, and neighborhoods filled with a homes and townhouses in various styles, built in large part, between the late 1800s and the early twentieth century.
It is a very special place with a storied past.
Below is the artwork I found. At the top of this post is a 1970s me wearing a shirt I had printed from it.
Back in the olden days I cut the logo it out of amberlith film with an #11 X-Acto Knife blade.
In case there is some other rare bird who wants one, I created a digital version that is now available in a number of different colors through Amazon.com…
